A significant development has taken place in the 2008 Mumbai attacks case. The US Supreme Court has cleared the way for the extradition of key conspirator Tahawwur Rana to India.
The court recently dismissed a review petition filed against his extradition. As per the extradition agreement, the US is now set to hand over Rana to India.
Indian authorities have previously provided evidence linking him to Pakistan's ISI and terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, identifying him as one of the masterminds behind the Mumbai blasts.
