Mother-Son Duo Selected for Prestigious President’s Awards

Lieutenant General Sadhana S. Nair and Squadron Leader Tarun Nair have made history by being selected for the President’s Awards in the same year. This marks the first time in India’s history that a mother and son have achieved this honor together.

Sadhana has been awarded the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal, while Tarun has been recognized with the Vayu Sena Medal (Gallantry).

On the occasion of Republic Day, President Droupadi Murmu announced awards for 93 military personnel, honoring their exemplary service and dedication.
