Narendra Modi seems to be making his own plans to reduce dependency on the TDP and JD(U), as he may have to oblige certain demands from Chandrababu and Nitish Kumar in terms of giving ministries and special status to Andhra Pradesh and Bihar.
Sources from Delhi say that after a few initial talks Uddhav Thackeray is showing interest in rejoining the NDA with his 9 MPs.
Not only that, but even 18 MPs of the Samajwadi Party are also inclined to join the NDA, and discussions are ongoing according to inside sources.
Additionally, there is news that Jagan Mohan Reddy may also be part of the NDA with his 4 MPs, thus contributing to a stronger government under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
The Delhi source also mentions that the non-BJP MP who won from Ayodhya is also on the verge of joining the NDA.
If all this happens, then the NDA would add 31 or more MP seats, bringing its total to 324. It is yet to be known if any independents and other MPs from the INDIA bloc will join the NDA.
The people of Andhra Pradesh and Bihar may only wish for a strong influence of Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar on the central government for the betterment of their states.
However, Delhi sources say that Modi is maneuvering to increase his MP tally to avoid depending on either Nitish Kumar or Chandrababu and their combined strength.
