Prime Minister Narendra Modi reflecting on his journey from a BJP booth worker to the nation’s leader shared practical campaigning tips with Maharashtra BJP workers. He emphasized engaging personally with voters rather than handing out pamphlets hastily encouraging workers to sit with families understand their concerns and persuade them to vote for BJP.
Modi urged workers to create and share social media videos featuring beneficiaries of government schemes, as testimonials resonate strongly. He advised them to converse patiently avoiding arguments and suggested taking influential individuals like teachers or doctors along during visits. Workers were also told to identify voters likely to travel on polling day and ensure they vote early.
Recalling his booth worker days, Modi recommended creating a festive atmosphere on voting day to boost turnout, including small processions. Stressing their role as “Modi’s ambassadors,” he asked workers to provide ground feedback and focus on both local and national issues during their interactions.
