In a significant encounter in Chhattisgarh, 36 Maoists have reportedly been killed. So far, security forces have recovered the bodies of 14 Maoists, with the death toll expected to rise.
Among the deceased are believed to be key Maoist leaders and members from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Security forces also dismantled Maoist Camp No. 6 and seized a large cache of weapons, including AK-47 rifles and SLRs.
