Manmohan Singh Given a Tearful Farewell

Former Prime Minister, renowned economist, and highly educated statesman Dr. Manmohan Singh's (Manmohan Singh) funeral rites were completed.

His last rites were performed on Saturday afternoon at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi with full state honors, bidding a solemn farewell to the visionary leader.

The ceremony was attended by President Droupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Ministers Amit Shah, JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, and prominent Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi.

Other dignitaries included Delhi LG VK Saxena, armed forces chiefs, and foreign representatives. Leaders paid their final respects to his mortal remains and bid him a tearful goodbye.
