Traffic jams in every part of India are raising serious concerns especially for those who are aged, ill and in sought of emergency health care.
A 68 year old man passed away inside his vehicle during a traffic jam on the Delhi-Jaipur highway according to police reports on Wednesday.
Rajender Singh, a resident of Bhiwadi, Rajasthan was traveling alone in his car when he likely experienced a heart attack, as per the authorities. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning as Singh was en route to Ambala for a meeting but became stuck in traffic caused by flyover construction near Bilaspur.
"It was drizzling near Bilaspur that morning, and Rajender Singh may have suffered a heart attack while trapped in the traffic. He was discovered lifeless in the driver's seat. After conducting a post-mortem we released his body to his family," stated Sub Inspector Om Prakash.
