The Maha Kumbh Mela is currently underway in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, drawing millions of devotees from around the world for a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers converge. Alongside this spiritual gathering, Ayodhya is witnessing an unprecedented influx of devotees visiting the iconic Ram Temple.
On January 26, Republic Day, over 25 lakh devotees visited the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, according to the temple trust. In addition to offering prayers to Ram Lalla, devotees also visited the Hanuman Garhi temple. Many pilgrims arriving for the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj are extending their journey to Ayodhya, making the city bustling with activity.
With a significant increase in footfall expected in the coming days, the Uttar Pradesh government has made special arrangements, including deploying additional police forces around the Ram Temple and Hanuman Garhi to manage the crowd and ensure safety.
