The world’s largest spiritual gathering, the Maha Kumbh Mela, has attracted millions of devotees. The confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers at Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh is bustling with devotees, reminiscent of a sea of pilgrims. The Uttar Pradesh government has announced that so far, 100 million people have taken holy dips at the Triveni Sangam.
The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13, will continue until February 26. It is estimated that a total of 400 million devotees will visit during the festival.
This is the Maha Kumbh, which occurs once every 144 years. Due to its rarity, devotees are showing even more interest in experiencing it, hoping to witness it at least once in their lifetime.
