Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the BJP and RSS calling them "poison" and the "most politically dangerous" forces in India.
Speaking at a rally in Sangli, Kharge likened them to a poisonous snake that must be killed. He also attacked Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath over the death of 10 newborns in a hospital fire and indirectly accused Congress rebel Vishal Patil of betraying the party by supporting his sister-in-law who is contesting the election independently.
Kharge criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for campaigning in Maharashtra instead of addressing the crisis in Manipur, where violence and atrocities were ongoing. He also questioned the outcomes of Modi’s international meetings, including with leaders like Donald Trump and the presidents of Russia and China.
Kharge reiterated Congress’ commitment to unity and rejected any attempts to divide the Patil family in Sangli, despite the challenge posed by Jayashree Patil, an independent candidate.
