Kerala Nurse Wins Rs 70 Crore Jackpot

A Kerala nurse, Manu Mohanan, hit the jackpot in the UAE, winning Rs 70 crore in a lottery.

During a live TV show for the Big Ticket raffle draw, the host announced Mohanan as the winner of 3 crore dirhams. Shocked by the announcement, Mohanan asked the host to confirm the ticket number three times.

He had purchased the ticket under a "Buy Two, Get One Free" scheme last month. Speaking about the win, Mohanan revealed that he and his friends had been trying their luck in the lottery for five years. He has been working as a nurse in Bahrain for the past seven years.
