Kejriwal's Lawyer Calls Trump Dangerous?

Kejriwal's Lawyer Calls Trump Dangerous?

During a Supreme Court hearing Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi referenced former US President Donald Trump while seeking bail for Kejriwal in the Delhi excise policy case.

Singhvi argued that the prosecution wants to "start all over again" and stressed the importance of Articles 21 and 22 of the Constitution which protect the right to life and liberty.

He noted that "Trump" has become a dangerous word today. Singhvi pointed out that Kejriwal wasn’t arrested by the CBI for nearly two years but was later arrested after securing bail in a more severe money laundering case. He emphasized Kejriwal is not a flight risk and wasn’t named in the CBI FIR.

Kejriwal is challenging his arrest and denial of bail, with the Delhi High Court ruling his arrest lawful. The Supreme Court has allowed the CBI to submit its counter-affidavit.
