Educator Avadh Ojha, a popular UPSC coach from Uttar Pradesh’s Gonda district, has joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and is contesting the 2025 Delhi assembly election from Patparganj. Formerly held by ex-Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, the seat was reassigned after Sisodia was moved to Jangpura. During an interview, Ojha praised AAP’s national convener, Arvind Kejriwal, comparing him to Lord Krishna and calling him a “God” for the poor.
He claimed societal evils oppose Kejriwal’s efforts to uplift the underprivileged, drawing parallels to Krishna’s struggles. Ojha emphasized Kejriwal’s achievements, such as free education, and expressed confidence in his future as a national leader, envisioning him as Prime Minister in 2029. Joining AAP earlier this month, Ojha prioritized education reforms in his political agenda.
Known for his social media presence and political commentary, Ojha aims to leverage his popularity for impactful governance.
