Karnataka Tragedy: 10 Dead, 15 Injured as Truck Overturns

In a tragic road accident in Karnataka on Wednesday morning, a truck fell into a gorge near Yellapur, resulting in 10 deaths and 15 injuries. The victims were traveling from Savanur to Yellapur market to sell fruits when the mishap occurred.

The incident happened on the Savanur-Hubballi road in the forested region of Uttara Kannada district. According to the SP, the truck driver lost control while trying to make way for another vehicle around 5:30 AM, causing the truck to plunge into the gorge.

While 10 people died on the spot, the injured were rushed to KIMS Hospital in Hubballi for treatment.
