Jagan Gives Clarity on Laddus Allegations

Jagan Gives Clarity on Laddus Allegations

YSRCP president and former Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy criticized Chandrababu Naidu, accusing him of indulging in diversion politics. During a press conference on Friday, Jagan responded to Naidu's comments about the Tirumala laddus, condemning what he called Naidu's low-level politics.

He accused Chandrababu of using even religious matters for political gain, claiming that Naidu spread false allegations about the adulteration of ghee used in the laddus.

Jagan further criticized Naidu, stating, "To cover up his failures, Chandrababu is fabricating lies, even claiming that animal fat was used instead of ghee. Is it right for a person who held the position of Chief Minister to make such statements? Is it acceptable to hurt the sentiments of millions of devotees?"

He also explained that the process of preparing the laddus has been the same for decades. Every tanker of ghee brought to the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) must come with an NABL certificate, and three samples are tested before the ghee is approved for use. This long-standing procedure ensures the quality of the ingredients used in the prasadam.
