ISRO Gears Up for Historic 'Century' Mission Tomorrow

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is set to make history with its 100th mission tomorrow. The launch will take place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota.

At 6:23 AM, the GSLV-F15 rocket will lift off, carrying the NVS-02 satellite weighing 2,250 kg. This satellite will be placed in a geostationary orbit at a distance of 36,000 km and will serve the country's navigation system.
