Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy has reportedly purchased a luxurious apartment in the prestigious Kingfisher Towers in Bengaluru for Rs 50 crore.
The four-bedroom flat spans 8,400 square feet and is situated on the 16th floor of the iconic building. The property includes parking space for five luxury cars. Murthy acquired this apartment from a Mumbai-based businessman. Notably, his wife, Sudha Murthy, had purchased a flat on the 23rd floor of the same complex four years ago for Rs 29 crore.
Kingfisher Towers, located in the heart of Bengaluru's UB City, stands on the site of Vijay Mallya’s ancestral home. Developed jointly by Vijay Mallya and Prestige Group, the 34-floor structure features three blocks with 81 ultra-luxurious apartments, each exceeding 8,000 square feet in size.
When the project was launched in 2010, flats were priced at Rs 22,000 per square foot. Narayana Murthy's recent purchase was reportedly at Rs 59,500 per square foot, reflecting the premium value of this high-end property.
