During a banquet hosted by President Droupadi Murmu in honor of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto at Rashtrapati Bhavan, a delegation from Indonesia performed the iconic Bollywood song Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. This touching gesture, reflecting Bollywood’s global influence, marked President Subianto’s first State Visit to India and was part of celebrations for India’s 76th Republic Day.
Actress Kajol, a lead in the film, expressed her delight on social media, calling it a heartwarming tribute.
Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, released in 1998, was a cultural milestone that reshaped Bollywood romance. Directed by Karan Johar, it starred Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Rani Mukerji, and Salman Khan.
