IndiGo Controversy: Doctor Criticizes Airlines

Dr. Suvrankar Datta, a Delhi-based doctor, criticized Indigo Airlines for poor service after a meal-related issue during his flight from Bengaluru to Delhi. A former radiologist at AIIMS Delhi, Dr. Datta took to social media to express his frustration with the crew's unprofessionalism, describing their attitude as "appalling arrogance."

As a pre-diabetic, he had pre-booked a sandwich to manage his condition but received it only as the flight descended, accompanied by the wrong beverage.

Despite his repeated requests, the crew delayed his meal and ignored his emergency call light when he started feeling jittery from hypoglycemia. Dr. Datta described the experience as a "nightmare" and expressed concern about the airline's ability to handle real medical emergencies.

He documented his interactions with timestamps and vowed to never fly with Indigo again, intending to escalate the matter to the national consumer forum.
