In a record-breaking deal, a luxurious penthouse in Gurgaon has been sold for Rs 190 crore. Spanning an impressive 16,290 square feet, the property was purchased by Rishi Party, the founder of software company Info-X.

The Numbers Behind the Deal

  • Stamp Duty Paid: Rs 13 crore
  • Price per Square Foot: Rs 1.82 lakh
  • This makes it the highest price per square foot ever recorded in India, surpassing a previous record in Mumbai where a property sold for Rs 1.36 lakh per square foot.

The penthouse is part of an ultra-luxury project by DLF, designed to offer world-class amenities. Located on Gurgaon’s Golf Course Road, the area is fast becoming a hub for billionaires, with wealthy individuals from northern India flocking to acquire luxury residences.

About the Buyer

Rishi Party, the new owner, founded Info-X at the age of 24 in 2001. He also manages three other companies as a director. With this acquisition, he’s made headlines not just for his entrepreneurial success but also for his lavish lifestyle choice.
