Indian Government Voices Concern Over Safety of Hindus in Bangladesh

The Indian Government has expressed its support for the Hindu community in Bangladesh, urging the Bangladeshi authorities to ensure their safety amidst increasing violence. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement highlighting concerns over extremist elements targeting Hindus.

The MEA pointed out the unfortunate reality that those responsible for attacking Hindus and other minorities continue to remain free. In contrast, charges are being pressed against a religious leader who was peacefully advocating for the legitimate demands of the community.
