Union Minister Nitin Gadkari emphasized India's commitment to developing world-class road infrastructure, aiming for it to surpass that of the United States.
"American roads are not good because America is rich, but America is rich because American roads are good," Gadkari remarked, underscoring the role of quality infrastructure in economic growth.
Gadkari highlighted India's innovative approach to road construction, particularly the use of waste materials. "Cities should segregate garbage properly and use it for road construction," he stated, revealing that around 8 million tonnes of garbage have already been used in building roads across the country.
