I’m a Devotee of Modi –Pawan's Ex Wife Renu Desai

Renu Desai, former actress and ex-wife of Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, has opened up about her political views. In a recent interview, she expressed her interest in politics and admiration for the BJP. “I am a devotee of Narendra Modi. I will always support him,” she said.

Renu revealed that she once had an opportunity to enter politics but turned it down at the time as her children were still young. Now, she says it’s written in her destiny to join politics someday. Regardless of what others think, she maintained, “I will always support Modi.”

She added that her values come from Sanatana Dharma, which taught her how to live and behave, and she proudly identifies as a follower of that path.

If she does enter politics, there’s a strong possibility she might join the BJP. Although she had previously claimed she wanted to stay away from politics, her current statements suggest growing interest.

It’s worth noting that in the last general elections, Renu Desai supported BJP’s Madhavi Latha, who contested from the Hyderabad constituency. She praised her as a “strong woman.”

Pawan Kalyan, who also identifies as a protector of Sanatana Dharma, is already a staunch supporter of the BJP. Whether his influence played a role in shaping Renu Desai’s current political leanings is unclear — but the possibility cannot be ruled out.
