Haryana CM Nayab Saini Drinks Yamuna Water Amid Pollution Row

The controversy over Yamuna River pollution continues, with Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal accusing Haryana of being responsible for the high levels of ammonia in the water, making it toxic. In response, Haryana CM Nayab Saini drank water from the Yamuna River at Palla village, near the Haryana-Delhi border, on Wednesday. He even poured some of it over his head to prove that the water is safe.

CM Nayab Saini dismissed any doubts about the Yamuna's water quality, stating, "Delhi CM Atishi did not come. She must be creating another lie. But lies have no legs, which is why AAP’s false claims are not working." He criticized Arvind Kejriwal for spreading fear among the public for political gains and claimed that water resource officials have confirmed there are no toxic substances in the Yamuna.

Calling Kejriwal an ungrateful son of Haryana, Saini asserted that Delhi voters will punish him in the upcoming elections by defeating AAP.
