Gujarat a Hub for Drugs: Tamil Nadu Minister

Tamil Nadu Minister Raghupathi made controversial remarks about Gujarat, stating that it has become a hub for drugs in the country. His comments were a response to Tamil Nadu Governor Ravi’s criticism that the state police had failed to control drug trafficking.

Raghupathi questioned whether the Governor could see Gujarat and accused him of speaking about Tamil Nadu without knowing the facts. He added that the Governor has no moral right to comment on drug cases and reminded everyone that it took over a year to allow the interrogation of AIADMK leaders in drug cases.

He further claimed that it was only after the DMK came to power that a special policy was introduced to curb drug activities in the state.
