Gangster Chase Ends in Encounter in UP

In a scene reminiscent of action movies, police in Uttar Pradesh's Shamli district chased and neutralized armed gangsters attempting to flee in a car. The dramatic incident unfolded on Tuesday morning when the Special Task Force (STF) received information about four individuals from the Mustafa Kagga gang traveling in a car.

As the STF prepared to intercept and arrest them, the gangsters noticed the police and tried to escape. The STF pursued them in a high-speed chase through the Jhijhana area of Shamli. Eventually, the police cornered their vehicle.

When the gangsters attempted to fire at the police, the STF responded with retaliatory fire. In the ensuing encounter, gang members Arshad, Manjeet, Satish, and an unidentified individual were severely injured. They were rushed to the hospital but succumbed to their injuries during treatment.

An STF inspector was also critically injured in the operation and is currently receiving treatment at the hospital.
