Gang Rape Woman in Bhubaneswar

A horrifying incident occurred in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, where a group of burglars broke into an apartment and threatened a woman, ultimately committing gang rape. The incident took place in Maitri Vihar in the early hours of September 30.

The 27-year-old woman, who was living in the apartment with her two-year-old daughter, was threatened with a knife by the intruders. They stole her mobile phone and gold jewelry before threatening her with the murder of her daughter and subsequently assaulted her.

Following the woman's complaint, the police have registered a case and are currently investigating. According to police reports, the woman had moved into the flat just ten days prior and was working in a private hospital. They suspect the burglars might have entered her apartment using a bamboo stick.

As there were no CCTV cameras installed in the building, police are reviewing footage from nearby areas. Authorities have also revealed that they have taken two suspects into custody for questioning regarding the case.
