The BJP’s manifesto for Maharashtra’s upcoming elections emphasizes economic growth, women’s welfare and modernization. Highlights include increased monthly aid for women under the Ladki Bahin Yojana with a hike from Rs 1,500 to Rs 2,100 and a goal to make Maharashtra an Artificial Intelligence (AI) and fintech hub.
The manifesto called "Sankalp Patra," launched by Union Home Minister Amit Shah also promises job creation aiming for 25 lakh jobs and a Rs 10,000 stipend for students. Plans for farmers include improved loan waivers, food security and better housing. Additional initiatives focus on pension hikes, cost controls on essentials, road infrastructure in 45,000 villages and renewable energy.
The BJP also envisions making Maharashtra a trillion-dollar economy by 2028, transforming cities like Nagpur and Pune into aerospace hubs and empowering women aiming to create 50 lakh “Lakhpati Didis” by 2027.
