Amid the looming victory of the BJP alliance, there is growing suspense over who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Will the current CM, Eknath Shinde, retain his position, or will Devendra Fadnavis be given the top job? This has become a topic of great interest.
Eknath Shinde, the incumbent Chief Minister, made crucial comments regarding the matter. He said, “There is no rule that the party with the most seats should automatically get the CM seat. Let the final results come in, and just like the three parties contested together, their leaders will meet and make the decision. We will consult our top leaders, Modi and Amit Shah, to finalize the decision.”
Shinde further stated that the coalition is committed to development, and their governance has been focused on welfare schemes and progress. He emphasized that the alliance's success is due to the developmental work they have done.
