In a significant bust, Delhi police have seized over 500 kilograms of cocaine, valued at more than Rs 2,000 crores, in connection with an international drug smuggling operation. Four suspects were arrested by the Special Cell of the Delhi Police during a raid conducted in South Delhi based on credible information.
The police reported that they confiscated a total of 560 kilograms of cocaine from the suspects, estimating its market value at Rs 2,000 crores. The arrested individuals are currently under interrogation.
This operation follows another recent drug seizure by the police, where two Afghan nationals were arrested, leading to the confiscation of 400 grams of heroin and 160 grams of cocaine. Further investigation into these arrests ultimately revealed the larger smuggling network.
