Delhi Police sent summons to Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to appear on May 1 regarding a case involving a fake video of Ami Shah.
Revanth Reddy was asked to bring his mobile phone allegedly used to share the video.
The BJP claimed the video distorted a speech by Amit Shah, suggesting he would cancel reservations for SC, ST, and OBC communities in Telangana.
The complaint stated that the fake video was shared by official Telangana Congress handles and other party units and then reposted by several leaders.
A Delhi Police Cyber Cell team went to Telangana to notify social media accounts involved in posting the altered video.
The Andhra Pradesh BJP filed the complaint urging the Election Commission to take action and block the Congress' account.
They alleged that the original speech by the Home Minister given at an election rally in Telangana was edited to misrepresent Shah's stance on reservations for SCs, STs, and OBCs.
