Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: Just A 2 Hr Travel

The upcoming Delhi-Dehradun Expressway aims to slash travel time between the two cities from six hours to just two. Spanning 212 km, the expressway will enhance connectivity and reduce congestion. A 32-km stretch from Akshardham Temple to Baghpat is nearing completion, while only a 3.4 km section is currently open.

Designed for smooth traffic flow, the expressway includes foot-over bridges for pedestrian safety, a 76-km service road, and 16 exit and entry points. The route passes through key locations like Shastri Park, Khajuri Khas, Baghpat, Shamli, Saharanpur, and Dehradun, and connects to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, boosting interstate travel and trade.

With an estimated cost of Rs 12,000 crore, the project is expected to drive economic growth and improve accessibility. Upon completion, it will revolutionize travel with speed, safety, and efficiency, benefiting both commuters and businesses.
