Delhi Congress Slams Prithviraj Chavan for U-Turn

The Delhi Congress unit lashed out at senior Congress leader and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. They criticized him, saying that if he had so much faith in the rival Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he should contest on their ticket.

Chavan had sparked controversy by predicting a win for AAP in Delhi, prompting sharp reactions from the Congress camp. He later clarified that his statement was misinterpreted, and he meant that the INDIA alliance would win if a coalition existed.

Despite the earlier remarks, Chavan has now asserted that Congress is poised for victory in Delhi.
