The counting of votes for the Haryana Assembly elections is set to begin shortly. Polling for 90 seats took place in a single phase on the 5th of this month, with a voter turnout of 67.9%.
The main contest is between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress. To form the government, a party needs to secure the magic number of 46 seats.
BJP leaders are confident of achieving a hat-trick victory, while the Congress is equally optimistic about its win. However, exit polls have predicted a victory for the Congress in Haryana
