Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole criticized Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath, urging him to avoid bringing divisive politics to Maharashtra, which Patole emphasized is rooted in inclusiveness.
Patole accused the Maharashtra government under CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis of ignoring issues like inflation and youth unemployment while promoting a debt-laden, corruption-riddled agenda, including alleged misuse of funds for the Chhatrapati Shivaji statue and transferring industries to Gujarat.
He also called out PM Modi and Yogi for focusing on communal politics rather than addressing corruption within the Maharashtra administration.
Meanwhile CM Yogi warned against divisiveness citing issues like “Land Jihad” and security concerns for women. As the Maharashtra election approaches the BJP’s Mahayuti alliance faces off with the MVA opposition. Polling is set for November 20 with counting on November 23.
