On Thursday night, during a jagran event at a temple for Sharad Purnima, ten members of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) were injured following an altercation with local residents. The incident began when two neighbors objected to the late-night proceedings while prasad was being distributed.
A dispute ensued, leading the accused to summon others who attacked the RSS members with knives. Six of the injured were hospitalized at Sawai Man Singh Hospital. Police have arrested Naseeb Chaudhary and his son, while efforts continue to apprehend additional suspects.
In response to the violence, a group of individuals temporarily blocked the Delhi-Ajmer National Highway but ended their protest later that night. Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
