BJP's Tarvinder Singh Marwah Alleges Attack

Newly elected BJP MLA Tarvinder Singh Marwah, who defeated Manish Sisodia in Jangpura, has alleged an attack on his victory rally. He claimed that stones were thrown at his supporters' vehicles near the Ashram Bridge. Marwah has filed a complaint at Sunlight Colony Police Station, blaming AAP supporters for orchestrating the attack.

In his complaint, Marwah named Sandeep Singh Goga and his brother-in-law as the ones responsible for provoking the attackers. He stated that they have been his political rivals and have threatened him multiple times before. Delhi Police is currently investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, BJP’s landslide victory in the Delhi elections ended AAP’s dominance, with BJP winning 48 out of 70 seats. This marks their return to power in the national capital after 27 years. Manish Sisodia, who lost by 636 votes, conceded defeat and expressed hope that the elected representative would serve the people well.
