The BJP Minority Morcha has launched the ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ campaign to distribute Eid kits to 3.2 million underprivileged Muslim families across India. With 32,000 party workers collaborating with mosques, the initiative aims to bring festive joy to the community.
Beyond Eid, the campaign extends support during other festivals like Ramzan, Easter, and Nauruz, fostering inclusivity. The BJP also plans Eid Milan gatherings at district levels to engage with the Muslim community, promote welfare schemes, and strengthen political ties. The initiative aligns with the party’s outreach strategy to boost support among Muslims and NDA allies.
Each ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ kit includes dates, dry fruits, sugar, vermicelli, and festive clothing for men and women. Valued at Rs 500- Rs 600, the kits aim to provide essential support to underprivileged families, ensuring they can celebrate Eid with dignity.
