BJP's Hindutva Is Now Aimed At Tamil Nadu

The BJP is making every effort to portray the DMK as an anti-Hindu party in Tamil Nadu. During some party meetings, the BJP made a big issue with a single sentence uttered by Dayanidhi Stalin and turned it into a national topic.

Central agencies have now initiated investigations against all the ministers in Stalin's cabinet in Tamil Nadu. Attacks have also commenced on the residences of these ministers. Simultaneously, the homes of former AIADMK leaders are also being subjected to raids.

Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai's campaign with the slogan 'My Land, My People' is receiving overwhelming public response. The BJP is gearing up for an intense campaign, asserting that the 2024 Lok Sabha elections are not a contest between Narendra Modi and local leadership but rather a battle between Modi and Rahul.

Party leaders are confident that if Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself contests in Tamil Nadu, the situation will turn in BJP's favor.

From appointing Sengol from Tamil Nadu in Parliament to announcing Kashi-Tamil unity, Modi has made his intentions clear regarding Tamil Nadu. He has sent numerous signals indicating that after Varanasi he is going to contest from Tamil Nadu. He has emphasized the connection from Madurai Meenakshi to Kashi Visalakshi.

In the Tamil Nadu local elections, the BJP secured the highest percentage of votes after the DMK and the AIADMK, surpassing the Congress.

Party strategists indicate that the BJP aims to secure the highest percentage of votes by contesting in seats where it is strong, and this time in the Lok Sabha elections as well, the BJP has entered the fray with the same strategy.
