BJP MP from Chittorgarh, CP Joshi, has written to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, requesting the cancellation of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s passport.
Joshi’s appeal is based on statements made by Rahul Gandhi during his recent foreign visits, which Joshi argues are irresponsible for an Indian citizen.
In his letter, Joshi claimed that Gandhi’s remarks could harm India’s internal stability, border security, and international relations. He accused Rahul of misusing his position as Leader of the Opposition and called for his resignation, arguing that his statements fall under anti-national activities, rather than political discourse.
The controversy stems from Rahul Gandhi's comments during his recent international trips, which the BJP has criticized as attempts to tarnish India’s image abroad.
