During his goodwill visit to Khotkar, Danave presented him with a shawl and flowers, and both leaders then stood for a photo together. As a party worker attempted to enter the photo frame, Danave appeared to kick him, sparking discussion online. Some suggest it was due to the worker’s playful comment.

Prominent figures responded sharply. Sharad Pawar remarked, “This reflects how they treat their colleagues in that party,” while Sanjay Raut questioned, “Is this your party’s culture?” Maharashtra’s Deputy CM Ajit Pawar commented, urging both ruling and opposition parties to “respect everyone and avoid unnecessary displays of arrogance.”
