New intelligence reports suggest that Hamza Bin Laden, son of Osama Bin Laden, is alive and leading al-Qaeda, despite being thought dead in 2019. Under his command, the terror group is reportedly regrouping and preparing attacks on Western nations.
Al-Qaeda has established 10 major training camps in Afghanistan and formed alliances with other anti West groups. Defense experts indicate that Hamza is steering the group toward its most significant resurgence since the Iraq War. His brother Abdullah is also allegedly involved.
Former UK forces chief Col Richard Kemp warns that Hamza operates from Afghanistan with intentions of vengeance for his father. Senior Taliban leaders are reportedly protecting Hamza and his family holding regular meetings and ensuring their safety.
This close relationship between al Qaeda and the Taliban is highlighted in intelligence reports, emphasizing the need for Western governments to recognize this threat.
