Bengaluru has been ranked as the city with the worst traffic in Asia, according to the TomTom Traffic Index 2023. Drivers in the city spend an average of 28 minutes and 10 seconds to cover a 10-kilometer distance.
The report highlights that Bengaluru residents lose an additional 132 hours annually due to being stuck in traffic jams.
Following Bengaluru, Pune in Maharashtra ranks second in Asia. In Pune, the average time to travel 10 kilometers is 27 minutes and 50 seconds.
