Auto Drivers to Get 10 LakhInsurance and 1 Lakh Wedding Assistance

As Delhi's Assembly elections approach, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is intensifying its efforts to win over various sections of society. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who has already announced 31 candidates in two phases, is making significant moves to garner support. On Monday evening, he hosted an event for auto drivers at his residence, where an auto driver invited him for lunch.

Kejriwal, along with his wife Sunita, was warmly welcomed into the auto driver's home. During the lunch, Kejriwal made a series of promises aimed at benefiting auto drivers. He declared five major welfare initiatives for them:

1. Financial assistance of Rs 1 lakh for the marriage of an auto driver's daughter.
2. Rs 2,500 for each auto driver on Diwali and Holi.
3. A Rs 10 lakh life insurance and Rs 5 lakh accident insurance for every auto driver.
4. The government will cover the fees for competitive exams for the children of auto drivers.
5. A comprehensive Rs 10 lakh life insurance policy for auto drivers.

These promises are part of the AAP's ongoing campaign to reach out to Delhi's electorate, particularly the working class, as the upcoming elections draw nearer.
