Attack on Arvind Kejriwal's Car: AAP Alleges BJP's Involvement

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's car was attacked during an election campaign in the New Delhi constituency. Stones were reportedly thrown at his vehicle, leading to heated allegations by AAP against BJP candidate Parvesh Verma’s supporters.

According to AAP, the attack was orchestrated by BJP goons, aiming to intimidate Kejriwal. The party posted a video clip of the incident on social media, stating, "Fear of defeat has gripped the BJP. Parvesh Verma's goons attacked Arvind Kejriwal with stones and bricks during his campaign. Despite their attempts, Kejriwal will not be silenced. The people of Delhi will respond to this cowardly act at the ballot box."

BJP's Counterclaims

In response, BJP candidate Parvesh Verma denied the allegations and accused Kejriwal's car of hitting two youths during the campaign. "When questioned by the public, Kejriwal's car ran over two individuals. Both have been admitted to Lady Hardinge Hospital. Kejriwal, facing imminent defeat, seems to have forgotten the value of people's lives. I am visiting the hospital to check on the victims," Verma stated on social media.

Police Action

The police promptly intervened to escort Kejriwal's car from the scene, preventing further escalation. Investigations are ongoing to verify the claims and identify those involved in the incident.

This confrontation has intensified the political rivalry ahead of the Delhi elections, with both parties trading barbs over the incident.
