Union Minister Ramdas Athawale criticized Congress MP Rahul Gandhi's claim that the BJP would alter India’s Constitution if it remained in power. At a rally in Navi Mumbai, Athawale dismissed Gandhi's allegation asserting that no one could change the Constitution drafted by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, even with all their efforts. He also attributed Gandhi’s election defeats to misleading campaign narratives.
Athawale reaffirmed his support for Prime Minister Modi and the BJP-led alliance, highlighting Modi’s respect for the Constitution and his commitment to OBC representation. He assured the Muslim community that they need not fear divisive rhetoric and promised support if they faced marginalization.
Reflecting on his political journey Athawale credited Modi and the BJP for his party’s growth and recent electoral successes. He urged voters to re-elect BJP MLA Prashant Thakur and continue supporting the alliance in upcoming elections.
