Amit Shah Responds to BJP's Defeat in Kashmir

In the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, the Congress-National Conference alliance secured a significant victory by winning 49 out of the 90 seats.

The BJP came in second, securing 29 seats. Following the results, Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed his thoughts, stating, "The people of Jammu and Kashmir have blessed the BJP with the highest number of votes in this election. BJP has won the most seats in Kashmir's history, and I sincerely thank the people of Jammu and Kashmir for their support. I also extend my congratulations to the BJP workers who worked tirelessly for this victory."

He further added that peaceful elections were a promise made by Prime Minister Modi, which was fulfilled in these elections.
