Amit Shah Opens On Citizenship To Foreign Muslims

There has been a significant uproar about the implementation of the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) in India.

Many mistakenly perceive it as discrimination against Muslims.

However, the point is that it is not discrimination against Muslims, except those from the theocratic Muslim nations like Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Bangladesh.

In this context, Union Home Minister Amit Shah provided further clarification.

Amit Shah emphasized, "...Muslims also retain the right to apply for citizenship...No one is being excluded. This particular legislation is aimed at addressing the issue of individuals arriving without proper documentation...We will address the concerns of those lacking documentation, although the majority, more than 85%, possess the required paperwork...There is no strict deadline. You are encouraged to apply at your own pace, and the Indian government will schedule interviews at your convenience. A thorough document review and face-to-face interview will be conducted...All individuals who entered India between 15th August 1947 and 31st December 2014 are welcome here..."

So, we need to the how some anti-BJP outfits respond to this clarification.
