Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a sharp dig at the Congress, highlighting its failure in the Delhi Assembly elections. He pointed out that despite ruling Delhi for 15 years under Sheila Dikshit, Congress has failed to secure even a single seat in the last six elections since 2014, blaming its decline on its loyalty to the Nehru-Gandhi family.
The BJP made a historic comeback in Delhi after 26 years, securing 48 out of 70 seats, while AAP lagged behind with 22 seats. The Congress suffered a crushing defeat, losing deposits in 67 out of 70 seats, making it the third consecutive election where it failed to win a single seat.
Shah mocked Rahul Gandhi, stating that Congress has only found "stability in zero" and that its downfall is a reflection of its nationwide decline, as it remains dedicated to serving one family rather than the people.
