Akhilesh Says Maha Kumbh Event A Failure!

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav criticized the Yogi Adityanath government for mismanaging Maha Kumbh arrangements, alleging devotees were disappointed compared to previous events. He accused the government of focusing on "marketing" to boost its image while people faced hardships. Yadav noted that the Chief Minister's statement about preparing for 100 crore pilgrims increased people's faith, attracting renowned personalities and more devotees to Prayagraj.

Labeling the Uttar Pradesh government as a "double-blunder government," Yadav highlighted confusion over pollution levels in Sangam. Referring to the January 29 stampede that claimed 30 lives, he questioned the government's safety measures, criticizing the lack of food, accidents, and overall mismanagement. He suggested extending Maha Kumbh dates to accommodate more devotees.

Additionally, Yadav attacked the BJP's economic policies, alleging that promises of doubling income, generating youth employment, and boosting industries have failed, leaving the poor struggling to understand the government's financial claims.
